It includes :
3 layers of cotton
1 cork layer
2 layers of organic cotton batting
1 layer of insul bright
Pot holders have been put through the test and can withstand high temperature heat contact on the cork and they are machine washable and tumble dried.

I recognized Stacie Bloomfield's fabric which is why a bought this pot holder, but it is really functional with the cork and doesn't transfer any heat. I bought one with a pocket and this one without, would recommend the pocket.
